Emily Pantalone | E-RYT, YACEP, YTU
Emily is a wellness consultant, yoga therapist, and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (Intermediate Level) based in New York City. She studied hatha, vinyasa, pranayama, and mindfulness through Dou Yoga (RYT-200), and meditation at the Dai Bosatsu Zendo monastery. Having a keen interest in body mechanics - the why of movement - Emily studied Jill Miller’s Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model® modalities, developing expertise in advanced anatomy, myofascial release, pain/stress relief and posture reset.
Emily’s passion for wellness goes far beyond the office. As a student of trauma-informed yoga and somatic practices, she co-founded Feet on the Ground in 2016 - a non-profit whose mission is to support resilience in trauma-exposed populations through yoga-inspired practices. Through her organization, Emily has worked with refugees, sexual assault survivors, and more, in partnership with Beyond Conflict, NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), Immigrant Advocates Response Collaborative (I-ARC), among others.
